Job Posting: One year full-time postdoctoral scholar position available

The ADVANCE Midwest Partnership project is seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Research Associate to join the team of the project funded by the National Science Foundation’s ADVANCE program to support institutional practices leading to the increased representation of women in STEM disciplines.

The successful candidate will join a team of faculty, administrators, and evaluators at Iowa State University, Michigan Technological University, North Dakota State University, and Western Michigan University, lead the analysis of project assessment and institutional data (qualitative and quantitative), and assist with the dissemination of project results and continued expansion of the project to other institutions. Additional responsibilities include creation of reports for the Advisory Board, external reviewer, and NSF, organizing and storing project data, and writing project reports. The Postdoctoral Research Associate will also have the opportunity to collaborate on research exploring COVID impacts on women STEM faculty being conducted by members of the ADVANCE Partnership team.  The successful candidate will receive mentored scholarly and research training to enhance their research success skills and prepare for a faculty position at a research institution.

The Postdoctoral Research Associate will coordinate the team of internal evaluators to update the project's logic model and prepare a summary evaluation report that links evaluation data with the logic model to determine progress toward intended outcomes and identify opportunities to strengthen future efforts. The position can be filled remotely.
